STRATEGIC CONTEXT
Chevrolet needed to prove that electric vehicles could be practical and affordable, not a luxury product. The Bolt was the industry's answer, and design had a role to play in making that story credible.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Chevrolet Bolt EV is a fully electric vehicle, introduced as a mainstream fuel-alternative to move the brand towards a more sustainable future with an entirely electric portfolio.

Lead Designer, CMF Strategy & Brand Launch
Guided the Seoul-based CMF design team, ensuring cohesive palettes and alignment across global studios.
Defined color, material, and finish strategy from concept to production.
Developed sustainable, production-ready materials that elevated perceived quality.
Served as subject matter expert for the Bolt EV launch—speaking to media, appearing on Chevrolet’s website, and representing design in global forums.
Collaborated with engineering, marketing, and product teams to carry design storytelling into launch campaigns and consumer touchpoints.
