Ven’s Role + Responsibilities
Create Design briefs for CMF vision, approved by Design VP and cross-functional executive team
On assignment in Japan, at the Honda Design studio, manage external design team to refine and execute CMF vision to production
Represent Design during cross-functional and external team meetings and milestones, presenting to executive teams and key stakeholders
Author statement of work for teams, with focus on streamlining shared development process and optimizing material portfolios
Direct CMF development to build out the look and feel — aligning with — of Cruise brand language
Approve production intent materials and tooling with partnered suppliers, appearance development, and launch teams
Joint venture with General Motors, Honda, and Cruise as partners to develop the Cruise Origin; an autonomous, shared-use vehicles
Workflow between studios in Detroit, Tokyo, and San Francisco to design, engineer, and execute
